The Agora Instructional Model provides opportunities for students to master core academic content, think critically and solve complex problems, work collaboratively, communicate effectively, and learn how to be effective learners.
At Agora, we believe in providing students with personalized and collaborative learning experiences by organizing our students into small learning communities. In these learning communities, students work closely with a team of core content teachers and their family coach, who, together as a team, ensure that students set short- and long-term goals to fulfill their Individualized Learning Plan.
Using live (synchronous) and offline (asynchronous) instruction, each student works through their Individualized Learning Plan with the support of their family coach, their learning coach, and a variety of instructional experts including teachers, interventionists, and support staff. Students engage daily in high levels of rigor and relevance through a collaborative and personalized learning experience. Each day students have 60 minutes allocated to receiving additional interventions, skill support, tutoring, and acceleration and enrichment at their level of learning.
