July 18, 2017:  Class of 2017 Agora graduate, Evita Scoccia, has received an impressive scholarship to attend Point Park University this fall to study business.  She was also featured in the local publication, Valley Voices, in April talking about the clothing company that she founded, Diamond in the Cloth.



JULY 12, 2017:  Dakota Esposito, of Hazleton, graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in computer science from Albright College, Reading, on May 21, 2017.   He made the Dean’s List five times during his four years, and received the Association of Computing Machinery Award in his junior year and the Senior Computer Science Award. He graduated Agora Cyber Charter School with honors in 2013 after attending for four years. He plans to get a job in the coding field.


JULY 10, 2017:  Lovisa LjungQvist Brinson, of Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania, was named Valedictorian of Agora Cyber Charter School’s Class of 2017.  With Agora since Middle School, the flexibility of cyber school allowed Lovisa to stay on top of her academics but also dedicate time to other interests like music and horseback riding.  Lovisa plans to study neuroscience with a minor in bioengineering this fall when she attends the University of Pittsburgh.


JUNE 19, 2017:  Agora CEO, Dr. Michael J. Conti, was one of the featured speakers today at the celebration in Harrisburg, commemorating 20 years of charter law in Pennsylvania. Former Governor Tom Ridge received the Charter Champions Award. More than 90 Agora students, staff and families were on hand for the press conference in our State Capitol. JUNE 16, 2017:  Agora graduated more than 800 students at its annual Graduation Ceremony in Hershey.

JUNE 21, 2017:  Lancaster online posted the names of all Agora graduates who live in Lancaster County.


MAY 21, 2017:  The 2017 Agora Cyber Charter School prom was held on May 20 at Blue Ridge Country Club in Lower Paxton Township. View the slide show of our students. Don’t they look great?!

MAY 4: 2017:  Philadelphia regional prom hits the local news! PHL17, an affiliate of ABC, was on hand to greet our students as they hit the deck and boarded the Spirit of Philadelphia to begin their magical prom night. The ladies were lovely, the gentlemen handsome and a great time was had by all!
