January 17th marks Martin Luther King Jr. Day!

On Monday, January 17, our school community will recognize Martin Luther King Jr. Day by having a day off from school. Please make this a day ON, not a day OFF. MLK Day of Service is a way to remember how Martin Luther King Jr. believed in a nation of freedom and justice for all. He spent his life encouraging all citizens to live up to the purpose and potential of America by applying the principles of nonviolence. On January 17, we encourage you to honor his life and teachings by joining in a community event and volunteer.
